Yo, if we get enough interest we're probably going to start PUG GVG in GWPickup again.

For the uninformed, GWPickup is an IRC channel with an automated pug system, allowing pugs to be formed quickly and easily.

Many of the players there have large amounts of experience, some are in top 20 guilds. Also, many of the players have little experience, so everyone's invited.

If you can't do that, or google to find out how, you're probably too stupid to be involved, but I'll start you off at mirc.com

There are lots of other clients, and mirc should work fine on vista, works ok here, whats the problem?

No firewall, connected to irc.gamesurge.net, random server, default port of 6667...

same setup I had my old mirc running with on XP and it worked fine. not getting an error message, just uses the little blue activating circle, then beeps and nothing happens.

edit: nvm I think i fix'd it. it seems to connect and working now.

it said nothing. I changed it to random euro server and it connected. go figure.
